It seemed to be a perfect arrangement
Ellen Cunningham had decided to go back to college in Seattle. She would get her degree and become the best first-grade teacher around.
Money was tight, and she was lucky to find inexpensive lodging in a house with three young college boys. Though she was only five years older, Ellen played housemother in exchange for low rent, a situation that pleased everyone.
Except Reed Morgan, the absentee owner. When he returned unexpectedly, he wasn't happy to discover his house occupied by a bunch of college boys and Ellen.

Did not finish. Got about 50% before I decided I couldn't handle anymore. It could have been a great story, but it was terribly written - no character development, rushed storyline, and not well written scenes. And this book was written in 2020, but it's set in like the 90s and it was weird. Overall, I was very disappointed.
