I really liked this one. It was funny as hell (if a bit TOO over the top ridiculous at times) It had some really interesting side characters and the writing was great. There are a ton of different POVs and a few different storylines. And although I wasn't distracted by that, everything did feel a bit superficial. If that makes sense. A lot of different people with a lot of different things going on, but no real depth to any of the characters or stories.

There is no buildup to Luke and Alice's relationship AT ALL. He literally just meets her and they are a HEA couple a chapter later. I almost wish the author would have left out some of the other POVs and storylines (maybe saved them for other books) and just concentrated on developing the story with Alice and Luke.

That said, I did find it interesting (and funny) enough to keep going. AND it did hold my interest. AND I would LOVE to read more books featuring these wacky characters from Spartan. So two thumbs up from yours truly.
