Loving Blue in Red States: East Tennessee

Anne Hagan takes us to Jonesboro for this sweet second chance romance. I love this premise. Imagine checking out someone's butt across the room and thinking “damn, I wanna tap that” and it's someone you know (laugh). Hagan writes it much more eloquently than that thank goodness and we get a charming and funny love story.

This is a quick read. It does reference homophobic slurs and there is some homophobic behavior in the story. This negativity does not overpower the story. Hagan gives us laughs, chemistry, and sweetness in this fast as lightning read in East Tennessee.
