Lust
2017

All the covers for this series are basically the same so all my comments will remain the same as well for each book. I like the cover on this one a lot. Obviously, it is a great representation of the story (and series). It has good composition and title work as well.

I have enjoyed every book in this series so far but at 50% I am choosing to set this one aside and call it a day. I just wasn't feeling it. One, I am not a fan of heroines that are female military personnel, so I have to admit I was disengaged from the beginning when I realized that is what this was going to entail. I also like my heroines less in your face and softer, so I never warmed up to Vanna. Even the way she spoke annoyed me to no end. Stud this and stud that...sigh. I don't know; everything just felt like it was all about sex without any romance. Of course, this one is LUST, so maybe that was the point! Then at the halfway point it took a turn that completely turned me off heroine was captured and gang-raped and tortured and that was the final straw. The author completely lost me at that point. I guess expecting to love all seven novellas was too much to ask for...sigh.
