This story has ghosts, but they're not creepy or scary. It's a sweet story about a woman who stands out in a small community and her life in it. Dottie is all alone now. Her husband is non-responsive and in a vegetative state, and she goes along with her life until along comes a neighbor girl Magdalena. It's a story how you can feel love for someone even if they're not your family. I will be checking out Candi Sary's other works because this was such a wonderful story.
