Magic in the Mountains

I think I'm rating this higher than I should. It's a cute fluffy, zero angst book but it is lacking. It's a book about discovering magic but there was very little discovery happening. Both characters were fine. I found the word safe was used too much. I needed more. More character development, more magic, more umph. I also think maybe I'm not into third person.
