2023: Attempt #2
After 5 years and understanding what type of book to expect from this author, did enjoy this one more. It is supposed to be funny and silly. It isn't great. I wish there was more world-building or at least some information explained. Also, nothing about Sara's circumstances or change made sense to me.
Still not great and I don't think I'll ever re-read it, but I'll give the next book a try and see if it is better.

This book and I didn't click. I feel like it had some of the PNR cliches or tropes with a few interesting quirks thrown in, but I really needed more from it.

When he was so excited about her having “common sense” and “needing her to have a flaw” I gave up. The things they are finding interesting about each other are so, so basic, for the most part. I just can't.
