Ok start to a cute horror series

A bit repetitive in its attempts to world build, but otherwise a fun read in the vein of Buffy or Charmed, set in Regency times. Those of you who enjoy Jane Austen will recognize familiar names like Captain Wentworth, or Emma... Knightly... But they do not resemble Austen's description. They're just borrowed names.
