Mercedes and the Chocolate Pilot

Mercedes and the Chocolate Pilot is another book that I discovered on the Beautiful Feet Books Memorial Day Pack book list and discovered it on Kindle Unlimited (it is ALSO in Amazon Kids +). This book was giving me chills all the way through and I would much rather read it in its physical form because I think it would be even more powerful without the tiny pictures included in the Kindle format. The war has come and gone, but the echoes of its shadow are still remaining and the innocents are the ones that feel it most. This is a story based on life, that tells of the airbridge to bring relief and a bit of sweetness as well. It is powerful and can really open the discussion and experience for something the littles in your life can relate to when it is something that they most likely cannot understand on its own with the severity. I read this as a borrowed via Amazon Kids+ book.
