Cover reveal coming Monday the 27th. I will update my review to add my comments on it then.

My review for this one is going to be rather brief as the book is super short and only took me forty minutes to finish. That said, even being so short it was still a delightful and sweet holiday read. This novella features Michael (who was engaged to Ella the heroine from the THIS IS LIFE series (book one) before she got with Grayson) and Holly (Michael's BFF's little sister). To say Micheal is a little bitter about Ella dumping him would be an understatement. And that was the only thing I wasn't overly crazy about in this one. There was a bit TOO much whining about Ella and how things ended. I would have liked if Micheal had been a little further past the sitting and staring bitterly at his pregnant ex with her new man stage before he got involved with Holly. It was a bit hard to buy into the sudden 180 turn he does in regards to his feelings and Ella.

That said, it was meant to be magical and Christmasy and light. The Scrooge with a broken heart learns to forgive and embrace love again. And it had that in spades, so the “ELLA” thing was a minor irritation at the most for me. It was well written and well paced. It was festive. It was sweet. Lightly sexy. No angst or OW/OM drama. Both main characters were very likable, and it was all wrapped up in a sweet little Christmas bow. Not much left to say. I liked it, and it gets two thumbs up from yours truly.
