This is the 3rd book I have read by Anderson and it's another winner. This is a story within a story within a story! I couldn't put it down. Without retelling the entire plot, it's about three different younger women in three different time periods. All are facing major life decisions. I'm a sucker for anything about the dust bowl, so Catherine's story was my favorite. I was so impressed with the way the future was handled in this book.
I have one (minor) gripe and a question. The gripe is about the title, which I do not think captures the feel of the stories at all. See? Minor. I'm also wondering why this is a teen book. This could just as easily been an adult novel. I'm not even sure it was clear what age Lenore and Beth were, so why not publish this as an adult novel? I could see it finding a bigger audience. shrug
