I like this cover. It's a fairly good representation of the story. It has good (not perfect) composition. The typography though simple is unique. Personally, I would have placed that author's name below the title at the bottom. I think that would have improved the overall composition and made it pretty much perfect.

So this is one of those books that I am not entirely sure how to rate. If I rated it on enjoyment alone it would probably be 4-Stars. The plot was original and exciting. It had twists and turns galore. I was hooked from the first page right up until the end. In fact, I read it all in one go.

That said it wasn't particularly well written (the beginning was especially rough) and there were a few plot holes that I hope will be explained in book two. On top of that, the heroine was AWFUL. She is just 19 or 20 but acted like a spoiled brat of a child most of the time. This also ended in a cliffhanger that was more like the author just stopped writing and called it a day. It was VERY abrupt.

Overall though the uniqueness of the plot helped me overlook the above issues and I ended up enjoying this one a lot. I will definitely be on the lookout for book two when it becomes available.
