Mistborn: The Final Empire

Someone recommended this book to me, and I am glad they did. This book was engaging from beginning to end. I love the world, the magic system, and most importantly the characters that Brandon Sanderson has created.
I will definitely be picking up the Well of Ascension. I have to know what happens next.
