✨ Oh my goodness, bookish friends! I just devoured Moonlight in practically one sitting (okay, two days, but who's counting?) and I am absolutely LIVING for this prequel to Glass and Bone! ✨

Let me tell you about Sybil - she's literally everything I love in a protagonist. Here's this woman who's supposed to be following her mother's carefully laid plans, but she's like "nah, I'm good" and I am HERE for that energy! The way she'd rather spend her time chilling in the underkingdom with her best friend and brother had me nodding along because, honestly, same.

But then enters Archie, the crown prince of Noterra, and wow - talk about a character that makes you want to throw your kindle across the room (in the best possible way). This man shows up as an "envoy" but ends up being SO much more. The chemistry between him and Sybil? ELECTRIC. ⚡

What really got me though was realizing this is all happening 20 years before Elaenor's story. Seeing how everything started, knowing where it leads in Glass and Bone - it's like watching a beautiful but tragic dance unfold. The political intrigue, the magic system, and the constant power plays kept me completely invested.

And can we talk about Cuico's writing? The way she weaves together female rage, complex magical systems, and political chess moves is perfect. If you're a fan of Sarah J. Maas or Jennifer L. Armentrout, you'll definitely want to add this to your TBR.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five glittering stars for this gem! This prequel adds such rich depth to The Diadem series, and I'm still not over that ending. Just... make sure you have some tissues handy, okay?

Content-wise, this is definitely for mature readers who enjoy their fantasy with a hefty dose of political intrigue and complex relationships. The perfect read for a cozy weekend when you don't want to be disturbed because trust me - you won't want to put it down!
