The relationship between her and the ghost was too serious too quick. He appears and then a few hours later she walks into the police station demanding to see an autopsy. Then she is offended that the coroner hangs up on her. The ghost is demanding and rude. I didn't read enough to know if he turns out to have a good reason to be so mean, but I can't imagine a good reason for it.
I did really like the way her grief was written. I also liked the way the cat was written.
I have been wanting to read this cozy series for a while. When I saw my library had it in, I snagged the first four books
