If Kamala can stop fan-girling out about meeting her favorite super hero, that is. Then, Kamala crosses paths with Inhumanity--by meeting the royal dog, Lockjaw! But why is Lockjaw really with Kamala? As Ms. Marvel discovers more about her past, the Inventor continues to threaten her future. Kamala bands together with some unlikely heroes to stop the maniacal villain before he does real damage, but has she taken on more than she can handle? And how much longer can Ms. Marvel's life take over Kamala Khan's? Kamala Khan continues to prove why she's the best (and most adorable) new super hero there is! -- Page [4] of cover.

Ms Marvel is a complete role model boss of a woman. Read this, one and all
This one was so much fun. Kamala is fighting the bad guys and has so much personality doing it! I loved seeing Wolverine and LockJaw was a fun addition.
Story
Ms. Wilson continues to tell a fun story albeit with a cartoonish mustache-twirling villain in the inventor. What endears me to the book more than anything though is Kamala herself.
I love her nerding out when another superhero shows up, and trying to keep herself in check. I also loved her interaction with Lockjaw, who makes a great addition to the story.
Overall, I found the larger story being developed, and Kamala's journey of discovering who she is as a superhero far more interesting than the more immediate story of the inventor. Hopefully there will be more interesting challenges for her to face in the future installments, but so long as it keeps being this fun, I'll probably keep reading anyways.
Artwork
Both Jacob Wyatt and Adrian Alphona do a good job here with the artwork. In fact, until going to write this review, I didn't realize there was a change in artist starting with issue 8. It seems that Mr. Alphona kept with a similar style to Mr. Wyatt, or I (more likely) just failed to notice the subtle differences.
I like that none of the panels feel lazy or unimportant, and the how well it's portrayed when Ms. Marvel expands or contracts her body.
Solid artwork overall.
Fun and jokey with a great message. Superheroes aren't typically my jam, but really enjoy this series with vast teen appeal.
