I really liked Gillian. I mean, the opening scene she is killing a bandit as revenge for killing her step father! She stands up for herself, takes crap from almost no one, and she kept everyone on their toes. The hero, Charles, was a little flat in my opinion. There were a few scenes where the flirting was good, but otherwise he just kept lambasting her. Not ok! And the grandmother. UGH! She was so high and mighty with Gillian.

Still, it was pretty fun. I liked the brother, Griffin, too.
