My Little Monster

I usually find most romance manga to be too cutesy or too predictable, which is on occasion okay, but isn't a regular genre I seek out. This one caught me thanks to the two quirky, fish-out-of-water main characters who I actually really enjoy and the story of their awkward romance is neither cringe-worthy or the norm, which is refreshing. There was quite a bit of humour and the odd-ball and socially inept duo kept me interested and shipping them all the way to the end. In a weird way I get them and that is a rare thing to find in a manga. Definitely recommend this if you like quirky characters, light romance and humour.
