I had a bit of a love/hate relationship with this one.

This is the type of second chance romance that I ADORE. The hero pulls some asshole move back in the day, and leaves the heroine weary of men. Now he's back and is ALL about getting her back anyway he can. That part of the book was really good.

That said, unfortunately this one was ALL over the place with angst due to a third party. Now I KNEW where this was going the MINUTE the heroine and this other person were introduced. The signs were not at all subtle. Eve was an excited girl, after all my motto is the more dicks the merrier That said, it wasn't executed in a very believable way. I never felt that Kane & Will loved each other enough to make me believe the ending. I mean Kane didn't even TELL River he was involved with this other person whom he dumped in favor of going after her. She found out by seeing a video of them together I needed less angst and jealousy, and more relationship building.

So, overall since I did love the whole second chance love thing, and I do love a menage I'm going to be generous and give this a 3 star rating.
