Boss/employee, age gap, dads best friend, hockeyish (both work for hockey team but not players) novellas.

This was a quick read and given the short length there was no tension or angst prior to the relationship which threw me off. I felt I didn't know these characters in the slightest. Regardless, it's quick and enjoyable for the hour it took to read.
