13 Going On 30 except it's gay and the MC is a young adult, not a teenager (and does not perform a Thriller dance routine). Cute concept but execution is lacking. On the positive side, Nolan does evolve from “completely selfish douche bag” to “still mildly annoying but able to prioritize family and other loved ones.” But authors, please don't feature a comedian MC if the only jokes you share are decidedly unfunny. And while best-friends-to-lovers is a reliable trope, does Drew have to be such a long-suffering sap?

I'm always looking for new (to me) male M/M romance authors, and Timothy Janovsky is on my “maybe” list for now.
