NIV Boys Bible

Okay, okay. So you may have heard my rave over the NIV Faithgirlz! Bible, but what about Boys? They might not enjoy all that hot pink and purple that has me so excited? Hmm... How about this NIV Boys Biblewith orange and blue instead, the design is awesome like a tool box – whatever that diamond plated metal is called (the Enginerd is impressed). So in this one, skip relating how girls are to women in the Bible and jump right into Grossology – who knew that you could read about impaling skulls with some blood and gore? While that might not be what a mama or preteen girl would want to read for interest, it might be just what that adventurous boy might need to keep him flipping a page or two. Even the previous edition of this one with an orange and brown duo-tone leather like exterior – either way this book has texture both on the outside and on the inside. A buttery soft brown with an orange dotted texture almost surf-board shape on the cover.

Already this is a totally cool Bible with an awesome exterior. Even my Enginerd likes it:

It has an attractive exterior, the extras are neat and these science and history facts are good.

Using the NIV, this Bible is a trust worthy translation. In a fact, the most trusted translation in the world. There are several unique sections to this Bible that make it silly, educational, fun and spiritual. Bringing points of interest from scripture forward to intrigue boys into reading more is something this Bible does with ease.

Ooh ooh! I almost forgot much as in the girls Bible the daisy flower theme is carried through out, in this new Boys Bible the tool box doesn't just stay on the cover, gears follow you through out and fit perfectly within the theme with the extras and make just the right amount of handy man highlights. Now, all I need it a son to enjoy it... hey honey...
