Not Like He Seemed

I was looking for a short easy read because the end of the month was nearing and I needed to finish a book before the month end. And since I had to finish reviewing this book I decided to read it.I went into the book not expecting much but it completely exceeded my expectations!! I felt the tension and suspense and I was gripping my seat throughout most of the book.[a:Ava Strong 21508547 Ava Strong https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png] added in a few parts with Tom's friend (I think his name was Rudiger) where I couldn't hold in my laughter, those parts really helped with all the tension I felt throughout the rest of the book.Most of the time with book series I read the 1st or the 2nd book and don't continue because I feel like the rest of the books in the series aren't as good as the first of second one...but in this case I am really excited to continue the series and see what other mysteries Ilse Beck solves.Pick this one up if you are looking for a quick,short read that will keep you in suspense but at the same time make you laugh a bit.Thank you to the author for providing me with a copy of the book in exchange for a review:)
