Thanks to the author for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review through Shannon from R&R Book Tours.

This story follows 4 kids who I believe are all 13 who have formed the Botanic Hills Detective Agency. If I'm not mistaken this would be considered a middle grade book. I don't typically read books geared toward younger audiences all that much so please correct me if I'm Wrong. I do think this is a great book for the targeted audience.

For me I did enjoy the story and it was a very quick and easy read to get through. You do have to suspend belief though because I have a hard time believing that parents and police officers would allow four kids to actually investigate a crime much less that an old lady would actually call in kids to investigate.

Anyways suspending belief I did enjoy my time reading this book. I thought it was very simplistic but cute. I don't think I would carry on with the series but I definitely think if you have kids that read middle grade books this could definitely be one they would enjoy.
