Nye, Sand and Stones

There are two islands, the Island of Sand and the Island of Stones. Nye lives in Sand and she loves to spend a lot of time building sandcastles. Unfortunately, the people of Stones spend a great deal of time heaving stones at Sand, and Nye's castles are all ruined.

Why does this happen? she asks people.

It's just the way it is, people tell her.

Finally Nye has had enough.
