NYPD Red 3

I read this book out of sequence and loved it! I did not feel as if I didn't know the dynamic between the main characters who are both detective partners and former lovers. Kylie and Zach are part of NYPD Red who handle the rich and famous cases and are expected to be as cooperative and complacent as possible whilst still doing their job.

This book has a decapitated body of a driver and a missing teenager who comes from a wealthy family. We soon learn this was murder and a kidnapping that has many layers to it. I don't want to spoil the twist but man James Patterson never disappoints, definitely worth reading and highly recommended!
