Nyxia

I personally love this book. See below for more :)

3 things I liked:
1) I loved the main character! I like that he has his flaws and that's ok and he doesn't need to get rid of them by the end of the book. Not only that, I loved all the characters and their group dynamic.
2) I loved the mystery aspect and the extra details underneath that hinted at something a little more sinister was happening.
3) My favourite thing was how they didn't forget their dead. One of my bookish pet peeves is when someone who is close to the main character dies and their is no grieving period. It seems fake and unreal and really changes how much I like a book.

3 things I disliked:
1) I disliked how it doesn't really have much action. The action is has is important until the end and because the are arriving on the new planet, it kinda reduces all the tension and action in the first book making me feel less enthusiastic about it.
2) I think that the sinister levels could be more dramatic to up the anti.
3) Can't think of another complaint!
