Unpopular opinion:
I think I've might, maybe, missed something...
she finally realized she had an abusive husband, a stupid family and she deserved more than that. I am aware that it is, even nowadays, pretty hard to stand for ourselves, especially if you are a woman.
But... if you remove all the feminist agenda (please, be sure that I'm feminist as all human beings should be) and criticism and studies involving this short story, it was a vague and simple text.
Perturbador quando se percebe a mudança de comportamento dela, os sintomas aparecendo, perturbador demais.
Esse livro tem a vantagem de uma perspectiva histórica válida - foi escrito em final de 1800 e retrata a feminilidade refém de uma forma triste. A gnt ferve quando o marido a chama de benzinho e a tranca no quarto, e entende que há algo por trás da história, incômodo e latente. Bem curtinho, pra não passar raiva a débito e crédito.
