I'm rating this straight in the middle because while I did learn I 100% agree that her own opinion wasn't necessary. Even her opinions I agreed with I didn't like how it was worded. She kept saying she trusted parents to make parenting decision but they way she wrote about people making parenting decisions that didn't align with her did NOT make her seem so okay with it. Either way I think all parenting books need to be taken with a huge grain of salt and this one is no different.
Really motivating and gives you hope and guidelines for potty training! Loved it.
Too much focus on needing to potty train by 3. With some fear mongering about kindergarten kids not being potty trained. My son potty trained a little after 3.5 years old. He has a speech delay but he really just understood at 3.5. No fights, no issues. He is fully potty trained and has had no accidents beyond the first few weeks. Wait until you child is ready, it'll save you a lot of stress and battles.
