Hase struggles with deciding what's best to make Kaori happy and coming to terms with what he sees as the relationship between Kaori and Kujou. Rather than trying to make things clear to him, he assumes that the best thing for her is to step aside and let them reconnect, but it's clear to basically everybody else (Kaori included) that Hase isn't happy and that something's wrong with their friend. We also finally start getting a little closure on Kaori's memory loss problem, which is welcome at this point.
There's only one volume left, so I'm hoping we get some answers and some clarity. I really liked the premise of this series, but I feel like the memory loss aspect took a back seat as soon as Kaori started keeping that diary. Which is fine, the series should evolve, but now it feels like a tacked on afterthought and I'm not sure I'm keen on that. Still interested to see how things wrap up though!
