Outcast, Vol. 2: A Vast And Unending Ruin

Looks like our boy Kyle is starting to get somewhere.

Honestly, I want some more scare, but I'm still enjoying this one. And I like Kyle more than Hideo in ‘I Am a Hero.' I realize they aren't in the same subgenre, but they both focus on dysfunctional, socially awkward heroes trying to deal with forces greater than they are whilst having terrible luck in the love department (in their own ways). I'll be excited to check out the next volume.

And I quite like the dark, grim art.
