I like this cover. The model looks a little more Asian than African America to me though. That said the composition is great. It makes good use of graphics that represent the story well and the title work is eye catching.

I rather enjoyed this book quite a bit. I found it to be well written and very well paced. It had an interesting plot. It had twists and turns. No OW/OM drama. Some violence. Some super hot sex scenes. A nice array of secondary characters. Two very likable main characters. Rae is African American, which I only mention because that isn't clear from the blurb and I sometimes know people pick or pass on books based on the ethnicity of the main characters. Alexei was a dirty talking Russian alpha. Lord do I LOVE me a dirty talking Russian.

Now I will say that I did find the relationship to be incredibly rushed. The “I Love You's” were flying around after these two barely had met. I would have liked to have seen a little more time spent building up the relationship. But that was just a small issue. One thumb and one pinkie up from yours truly.

SIDE NOTE: I am a little on the fence about book two in this series. It's going to be Katya and Igor's story but honestly, I am not really sure how that is going to work considering the events that took place in this book.
