Optimism. Fun. Team. Try your best.We had tons of fun getting to know Pete the Cat in [b:Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons 12875557 Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons Eric Litwin http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1360650115s/12875557.jpg 18028389] and now having Pete come along in early reader form (Level My First) is very exciting for my preschooler. While this book did not have a rhythm like the picture books did, the same loving character and illustrations are here. This book is filled with value. There is so much optimism teaching to the reader through Pete's experiences in playing baseball with his team. It is all about fun and just trying your best. This is a great one for any young reader and child. Definitely inspiring. Thanks to HarperCollins for providing an ARC for review.
