Playboy in a Kilt

To be fair, I'm a sucker for a good fake relationship story (bonus points for “pining for sibling's best friend for forever“), and Sophie and Connor sure did not disappoint! I'll admit I had a soft spot for Sophie ever since she proved to be such an awesome friend to Kyla, and I just knew there had to be more to Connor than the ladies' man facade he so successfully hid behind. Sophie was a strong, resourceful shero I could root for from the get-go, and I loved how she and Connor - mostly :) - brought out the best in each other. The rest of the wonderfully messy and meddling found family around Ardinmuir and Lochmara occasionally tried to steal the show, but that's par for the course for a Kait Nolan book, I think.
