Polar Vortex

It is clear that the author Matthew put in a lot of research into writing this book. Everything about the book that requires being accurate are accurate. However, the story is lacking. A story needs to have some kind of purpose. If it was simply a story about the heroic escape of a plane crash survivor, then it would have been fine. However, the narrative kept hinting at some conspiracy or plot behind the protagonist being a part of the plane crash. Then it fails to deliver. We learn nothing satisfying enough to call this book a completed story other than the speculations of the protagonist. Disappointed about that. Otherwise, its a good book worth picking up to learn a bit about the artic regions and iPhones!
