He’s the most off-limits man in the entire country, but Gavin Strong looks at me like I’m everything he’s ever wanted. He thinks I’m smart. So even though I’m only an intern, I get pulled into meetings where he wants my opinion, and we work late into the night. And when I call him Sir, he gets hard and I get flustered, and then he calls me his good girl and it doesn’t matter that he’s the Prime Minister of Canada. In those moments, all that matters is that he’s mine. . . . FOOTNOTES: * This is a fictional romance. No prime ministers or interns were harmed in the making of this book. ** Except it’s a kinky romance, so they were hurt a little.

So I'm about 50% into this book...and I can already tell I have a few problems with it. I'm Canadian... so some of the things mentioned kind of irk me. Like... How has Gavin's friends from Vancouver not seen freezing temperatures? Hell, the west coast got more snow than Ottawa did last year... Vancouver gets cold...Canada's temperatures and climate are completely different to that of the United States, something to keep in mind. Guaranteed his friend already owns a toque (LOL).
There are some other smaller problems I have with the book, that frankly aren't really worth mentioning, other than I highly doubt the intern has that much pull in the office of the PM...
But it's a decent book in other areas. I'll consider it a one-time read.
