I have never seen the show this book is a tie-in for, so I have a feeling that I missed many of the subtleties of the character relationships and other nuances that fans may have picked up on. Even so, this was an enjoyable read and the author developed the story well. Aficionados of the series will in all likelihood find it enjoyable as I did, if not more so.
