Pumpkins and Proms

Laura Greenwood gives us her version of Cinderella in Pumpkins and Proms. I like this version and will promote this one over the old one any day of the week. Greenwood creates the best female characters and Ella is no different. Ella is strong, caring, and is always putting her friends first. She even puts them before boyfriends - girlcode!

I had no clue how Greenwood was going to spin this tale. She kept everything a surprise, even to Ella. I loved the romance between Florian and Ella. I thought it was comical and supportive. I love the friendship between these women. I will admit to some concern regarding Marigold and that is all I am saying on that one.

Pumpkins has plenty of laughs and an old-fashioned rom-com feel. Cinderella has never looked so good.
