Puzzle Me This

Cute premise: a shy MC hides clues in a crossword puzzle for the other MC he is crushing on. But after the two meet, a bit of the magic dissipates, leaving a nice if unremarkable contemporary romance, albeit with one character in a wheelchair. Some nice banter and sexytimes. I think this is one of the author's earliest works, and she has become a more polished writer since then.
