Rat Queens

This starts with a one-off episode about Orc Dave's backstory which is alright, but not much more than that. After that, we get the story arc about the “magic nothing” of the title and... honestly, it's so confused that I'm really not sure what Wiebe was aiming at. There are some individually good episodes here and there (the hallucinogenic toad, for example), and the art's top quality, so I'm willing to nudge this up to three stars. But. taken as a whole, it's just a muddled mess that ends up going nowhere. Really quite disappointing after the earlier volumes.
