Raven's Cove, Alaska has been surrounded by haunting legends for as long as Kat can remember. Living in a small, dull town has its perks though despite the crazy stories surrounding it. It's a quiet and predictable type of life.
However, when a dead body shows up murdered in what's clearly an unnatural way...the townsfolk have to wonder how much of the legends are true?
This is the first in the Iconoclast Thriller series, however I would say this has more of a supernatural cozy mystery feel to it. I read a lot of cozies and right off the bat this one gives me the same vibes but that isn't a bad thing.
For the most part I really enjoyed the writing and the flow, however I would have liked to see more development between Kat and Ken and their developing romance. I also enjoyed the good vs. evil storyline as this had some slightly gory and chilling moments.
Overall a good start to the series. Looking forward to the next one.
