Ready Player One

Nostalgic fun for me because I was a teen in the eighties.

The pace built nicely. The writing was poor however. I really disliked the authors parenthetical explanations for possible plot holes, very distracting and weak. The characters were mostly weak. Two dimensional. The many cultural references were fun for me.

I'm thinking that in this case, the movie might be better than the book? I'll try to update this review after I see the movie.
