Realms of the Arcane

A collection of 10 short stories centered around an arcane theme. As with most such collections, they range from very poor to very good. Again, it tends to lean towards poor. The good stories came from Elaine Cunningham, Jeff Grubb, and Monte Cook, and a surprisingly fresh and interesting story from Tom Dupree, “Bread Storm Rising”. The rest were mostly forgettable stories.
