Super hot cover that is visually pleasing (HaHa). Good Composition and use of space. Typography is simple (two different fonts used) but well balanced. A small tagline that lets you know this is the first book in the series. Quite a good representation of one of the main characters in the book.
So WOWZA was this book good! Dark. Twisted. Fucked up. Well-Written. Nicely Paced. One HELL of a cliffhanger.
In this first episode, the author introduces up to Dylan and Rip. Painting a picture of their separate but equally dark and painful backgrounds. I felt in this episode of the series we got to know Dylan a little more than Rip. I am sure in upcoming episodes that the layers that make up the man Rip is will be slowly peeled away. Both characters hold so much potential and it has me gnawing at the bit to get episode two in my hands.
Not much more to say really. I straight up LOVED it.
