I got this book from Netgalley in return for my honest opinion.

I had no idea that this was a part of a series. I literally realized it when I was updating my GR and saw it.

But, it was also doable to read it as a stand-alone. There were a few things that would have been better if I'd read the entire series. But that is just my bad.

I enjoyed this book. I really did. I have a weak spot for royal romance books and this is even better. The main characters are both Royal, even though one of them wasn't born like that. I love it when books continue with the same characters developing in life. Most books cut off after just one book and continue on with a new pair of characters that were introduced before. So, yay for this book. It was a bit short in my opinion, but that might be because it's book 3.5. Who knows, I've only read this book.

Oh, and i'm going to read the other books in this series because I love the characters.
