Ruthless Rival

Friends to enemies to lovers. What more could you want, right? Wrong. This started off with some potential but lord Christian was so beyond stupid I was irritated reading this. For being a lawyer, he is a Grade A dumbass- especially when it comes to women. There was also some tension mentioned in the book that was quickly brushed over with no explanation.

I did enjoy the world building and the characters, (except Christian) and I liked the flashes between past and present tense. Also I got a weird sense of deja vu while reading the ending even though I know for a fact I've never read this book before. It was strange but overall a decent read to pass the time on a long drive.
