This was my least favorite of the series so far. I think the author would have been better served to have left out the whole “someone is trying to kill King” especially when we find out WHO it was and focused just on Maris and his issues and how they would/will affect his and King's relationship.

I also felt it ended VER abruptly and I HATE when an author permanently injures or maims a hero. King is supposed to be this BIG BAD wolf shifter and not he is going to walk with a limp and need an inhaler?? Really??

Anywho, like I said, not one of her best.
