It would take a saint to resist Elijah Iverson.
Aiden was the last person in the world anyone expected to become a monk. As much as I enjoyed the book, 4 stars because I found it hard to understand what Aiden’s deal was honestly.
Rating: 3.5 idk it was good but I wasn't fully connected to the characters but also I was idk I did love the ending it was cute and it went a route I didn't expect from the synopsis but I still enjoyed
This is EXACTLY what I wanted from Priest, the first book in the series.
I haven't stopped thinking about this since I read it.
Aiden and Elijah's characters were built well, and their connection felt very real. I absolutely enjoyed the tension in this book, and the angst between the characters, and the fact that Aiden literally locks his dick in a cage because he's THAT determined to be celibate. It was absolutely iconic.
I enjoyed her writing too, it was rich and beautiful.
