Sandworms of Dune

I so wanted to like this book. And I can honestly say that many of the ideas in the book are excellent. But the execution of the story was just not, well...existent. I finally read through all the Dune books (not the prequels), and I can say that, in my opinion at least, only read the books that Frank Herbert wrote. I almost didn't finish the book and thought to look up spoilers on the internet so I could put the book down and not let the “completist” in me finish the book. But I finished it anyway.
