I'm conflicted. This was a quick fun read and if you go into this for that, sure you'll love it. It was so very hot but the plot? nonexistent. There was practically no depth to characters other than damaged virgin girl and hard ass man with serious blood lust which I LOVE. I am a mega hater of he pushes he away for her own good but this instant I reaaaally did like as we got little background into his dubious dealing. So we get to the point to where he is pushing he away and his second hand is like “blah blah our enemies” but these enemies in the story? no where to be seen. There was zero imminent threat that warranted him pushing her away.
